Beth Angus Baumstark
Kyra joined Baumstark Braaten in 2016. Her interest in the intersection of energy production and sustainable agriculture drew her to North Dakota after having served as a research fellow at a nonprofit in Portland, Oregon devoted to developing comprehensive renewable energy policy. Kyra is a 2014 graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School, where she focused on energy and environmental law and served as an editor of the school's Animal Law Review. During law school, Kyra clerked at the California Office of the Attorney General in the Environment, Land, and Natural Resources division working on cases involving environmental cleanup, water use and flood management, and air quality enforcement.
